The trip to Ilocos Norte was definitely one for the books. Quite a long haul, yes, but the 10-12 hours long bus ride was all worth it.

Everything was awesome - food, ambiance, local attractions, the people. The best part of the trip was to spent time exploring this wonderful place with friends. It’s fun to share the experience and the “natural high” you get from traveling with them. I’m blessed to have friends whom I share the same passion with.I will be traveling with them sooner or later, and I know it will be twice as fun as we had in this trip. Cheers to more travels. :)

Ain’t about how fast I get there. Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side. It’s the climb.

In a nutshell, the learning I gained from the whole climb were invaluable and something I wouldn’t trade for anything else.

I was thinking of my second mountain, higher than the first one and three times much more difficult to climb. I could imagine that at the summit of that mountain, beauty will again fill my senses, filling me with awe and gratitude that I lived to witness such magnificence that only few would ever have the chance to appreciate. Only the thought of that view from the mountain peak is keeping me going.
